We are happy to inform you about the successes of the participants of the Doctoral School of our University during the 25th Scientific Meeting of the Polish Diabetes Association. The results of the competition for PTD Scientific Grants were announced at the meeting. Prof. Artur Czyżyk, the winners of which were Doctoral Students of the Doctoral School of our University:
The 1st degree award was given toRafał Sibiak MDrepresenting the Department of Histology and Embryology and the Reproductive Clinic – 1st prize for the project entitled “The impact of type 1 diabetes on the transcriptomic profile and epigenetic changes in cells of placental origin.” – supervisorprof. Marcin Ruciński, project supervisorprof. Ewa Wender-Ożegowska.
The 1st prize was awarded toAlicja Stańska MDfrom the Department and Clinic of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Internal Diseases headed by prof. Marek Ruchałafor the project entitled “The impact of functional hypogonadism and its treatment on metabolism and muscle tissue” – supervisor and scientific supervisorprof. Nadia Sawicka-Gutaj.
