Research on the academic mobility of scientists

We kindly ask for your support in carrying out a study on the impact of international academic mobility on the careers of Polish scientists. We are a Research Agency and we are carrying out this study on behalf of the Information Processing Centre – State Research Institute (OPI PIB).

The project is financed from the state budget, granted by the Minister of Science under the “Science for Society II” Program. Attached is a letter of credence and an invitation to participate in the study from Dr. Hab. Eng. Jarosław Protasiewicz, Director of OPI PIB.

The main objective of the study is to understand how participation in international scientific mobility programs affects the career development of Polish scientists, as well as to develop recommendations that will contribute to the improvement of these programs.

In connection with the above, we kindly ask you to support the implementation of this important undertaking by distributing information about the study among your research staff.

We are committed to reaching the widest possible range of information about the planned study among the research staff of your university, as well as to informing them that invitations to participate in the study will be sent to their e-mail boxes in the near future. Your information support will help us effectively reach respondents and enable them to participate in the study, which will ultimately contribute to a better understanding of the impact of international academic mobility on the development of scientific careers.

We also ask for support in reaching doctoral students who are not university employees and whose contact details do not appear in publicly available databases. Please send an invitation to participate in the study to this group on our behalf, which will allow us to collect even more complete data.
