On 28 February 2026, the second edition of the postgraduate programme ‘DATA SCIENCE IN MEDICINE’ was officially launched, and the first edition, financed by the Medical Research Agency, was officially concluded.
The programme is an example of a public-private partnership aimed at supporting the development of the medical technology sector!
The programme director and host of the opening ceremony was dr hab. Magdalena Roszak, together with a representative of Roche, mgr inż. Krzysztof Sienicki.
The programme is part of the project ‘Innovative postgraduate education for the development of the biomedical sector in Poland’, financed from the state budget, awarded by the Medical Research Agency as part of a competition for the development and implementation of an original postgraduate programme in biomedical sciences. Project number: 2023/ABM/06/00001, Co-financing and total value: PLN 3,448,185.00.
Thirty students from all over Poland, including two PhD students from our Doctoral School, have commenced their studies in this program.
