On Monday, February 20, 2023 at 18:00, a meeting will be held on the MS Teams platform entitled: “Doctorate od Lining – Here’s to new beginnings! So everything you need to know about the doctorate”. It is largely an answer to questions about the doctorate asked by students.
Topics that will be discussed at the meeting include:
– How to get a PhD?
– Possible PhD paths (university-funded doctorate, grant-funded doctorate, implementation doctorate)
– What does a day at PhD look like?
– Can a PhD degree be combined with professional work outside of it?
– What are the duties of a doctoral student after getting into the Doctoral School?
3 short presentations are planned, each lasting a maximum of 20 minutes (prepared by Paulina Kobyłka, Karolina Buszka and Blanka Borowiec), followed by about half an hour for discussion with questions and answers.
