There is a competition for students and doctoral students to submit didactic initiatives that will influence the development of modern education in Poland. The prize pool is PLN 7,000, and applications can be sent until November 10. The competition is organized by the Foundation for the Quality of Education, which has been raising the didactic bar in higher education for years.

The “Student Teaching Initiatives” competition is a response to the needs of the academic community – students, doctoral students, lecturers and university authorities. Its aim is to distinguish educational projects that support critical thinking, communication, cooperation and creativity. The competition jury will particularly highly evaluate initiatives that can be used by various universities, and therefore will have implementation potential.

Teaching initiatives in a form similar to a subject card can be submitted via the form posted on the Education Quality Portal ☞ https://pjk.edu.pl/studenckie-inicjatywy-dydaktyczne-sid/. The organizers will reward the best initiatives and publish them in the form of an e-book. Participants in the competition can submit projects individually or in teams. The project is co-financed by the Minister of Science.

“Student Teaching Initiatives” support processes such as better communication between students and lecturers or breaking generational and competence barriers between them.
