The Walczak NAWA Program allows for strengthening the potential of Polish scientific units and medical entities by supporting the international mobility of researchers in the field of medical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences and health sciences. Each participant of the Walczak NAWA Program has the opportunity to develop competences within one of three paths: didactic, scientific and clinical during a stay lasting from 1 to 6 months. PhD students and participants of doctoral schools, physicians with at least a doctoral degree, working in hospitals and other medical facilities, academic teachers of universities and scientific units can apply for the scholarship.
The program provides funding of up to PLN 32,000 for each month of stay. The support consists of: a scholarship, living and accommodation costs, and travel costs. Additionally, PhD students and scientists who choose a scientific path and decide to travel longer than three months can receive one-time financial support in the amount of PLN 20,000.
The call for applications will be conducted until February 28, 2025 in the NAWA IT system.
