The BioLAB program allows students and students of MA and PhD studies in biological and chemical and medical sciences to complete a one-year research internship in a laboratory located in one of the four institutions in the USA: 1) University of Virginia, Charlottesville, 2) University of Chicago, Chicago, 3) University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, 4) Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma City.
During the internship, students conduct independent research in modern laboratories, the results of which are often published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. In addition, they take an active part in the life of the American university, participate in seminars, guest lectures and learn about American culture. In some cases, they also have the opportunity to use the research results for their master’s / doctoral dissertation at their home university.
